FC Wohlen (2012 - 2014)

Starting June 12, 2012 David Sesa has been training Wohlen FC, a Swiss football team currently playing in the second division (Challenge League). The club was established in May 21, 1904 and is up to date the oldest Swiss football club not to be funded in a city. Even though it played in the first division from 1930 to 1932, afterwards it mainly performed in the 1st or 2nd Amateur League, even drifting into the anonymity of the 3rd Amateur League at the end of the Seventies. The major success of the club’s recent history was achieved in 2002, when it moved up the National League B, nowadays known as the Challenge League.

In fall 2004 the new stadium Niedermatten was inaugurated. Probably, the most famous player in the history of Wohlen FC is Ciriaco Sforza (Bayern Munich FC, Kaiserslautern FC, Inter FC, Grasshopper Club Zurich, the Swiss national team).
